Small North Chicago CPA firm is hiring for a senior accountant position.
Flexible hours: 2 to 3 days per week May through December. 5 to 6 days per week during tax season. Applicants must have over 3 years experience in public accounting, including payroll and sales tax preparation, be able to prepare complex individual and business tax returns, and all other accounting work such as prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements, write-up work, including bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries and year-end work papers. Knowledge of audit experience is a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and project a professional image. Extra bonus for bring-in existing clients.
Must be able to handle extensive working hours in the tax season
CPA is required, must have certification in hand
