Our client, a growing $100 million dollar manufacturing company is looking for a senior accountant. The position is responsible for the follow duties:
> Prepare account analysis for general ledger accounts.
> Review balance sheet accruals.
> Prepare month-end journal entries.
>Prepare sales and use tax returns and other returns as deemed necessary.
> Prepare schedules to support the annual external audit.
> Audit the monthly sales commissions calculation.
> Coordinate with other departments in the completion of government reports.
> Prepare support schedules for the estimated state and federal tax payments.
> Accrue for monthly and quarterly rebates. In addition, ensure that the checks and statements are distributed to the relative parties.
> Perform special projects as requested.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a corporate accounting role. Prior experience working with a large ERP system is preferred.
