Centro is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for their Finance department!

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist is a professional whose passion is accurate data and excellent customer service. This person will have shared responsibility for the accounts payable functions, including full cycle payable: cutting checks, entering invoices, customer service calls and reconciling vendor accounts. This position has the ability to grow within our Accounting & Finance team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Review accounts payable and expense reports for accuracy, coding and proper processing.
Perform weekly check run based on cash received.
Monthly review of accounts payable for credit reconciliation and reporting.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Assist in month end accruals.
Assist with annual audit.
General filing of payable documents.
Master file updates as needed.
Complete special projects that may include vendor file maintenance, accounts payable analysis, fixed asset review and other reporting.
Reconcile payables and provide explanations to clients on all payable inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:
Desire to build lasting vendor and customer relationships.
Strong organizational, business writing, communication and customer service skills.
Prior Accounts Payable experience.
On-line marketing and advertising experience a plus.
Technical Skills:
Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
Education:
Accounting Degree preferred; other candidates will be considered.
