Our client, a well-established firm based in Chicago, has an immediate opening for a Senior A/P Specialist. This person will work closely with the Controller on all aspects of Accounts Payable. Some bookkeeping duties will be required as well. This is an outstanding growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Processing of invoices in a timely manner
• Petty cash disbursements
• Bank Reconciliations
• Additional accounting duties, such as assisting with month-end close, reporting, and analysis
Qualifications:
• Prior A/P experience required
• Exposure with QuickBooks preferred
• Comfortable working with upper management
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly
