I'm a custom furniture maker in Chicago, and am offering this hand made coffee table for sale. This cofee table is new, was completed last year, and was for sale through a gallery; I am now offering it directly for 50% of its showroom price.
I combined some of my favorite elements in different pieces I've made over the years to produce this new coffee table. The top is solid American Cherry, the arch is solid, laminate bent Maple, and the legs and the through-vertical supports are ebonized Black Walnut. With a nod to early American Modern as well as Asian influences, this piece is simple yet elegant with its graceful curves. It is available in two lengths, 48 inches, and slightly longer 55-inch version ($1600).
