Goreous framed lithographic poster by Viennese artist Ludwig Koch b.1866 - d.1934– Austria. An equestrian painter and lithographer, Koch was considered the greatest horse painter of his time in Europe. He was much sought after to complete portraits of racehorses, jockeys and polo champions. Here is a link to a Time Magazine article from 1927 (the same year of this picture) chronicling his arrival in the United States from Austria.
