]]>you already have a logo AND more flyers than you can stand? then how about some video work to promote your band? in addition to doing alot of print/web design work, i also do video work. feel free to browse my youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/evlved1 to see what i've done in the past. a few were projects done for a film class so they're not quite up to the standards i would have preferred but that's only due to specific criteria set by the instructor. there is a music video posted for my own band that you can check out, as well as two short 6 minute films that i've shot. both were 100% original concepts and were all shot/edited by myself so you can see what i'm capable of. keep in mind also that everything you see on the youtube channel was NOT shot in HD, which i'm doing now so the quality is actually ALOT nicer now than what you'll see, although they do look good as-is... just an fyi.

Can you take one morning a month to help unemployed South Chicago residents improve their job skills in this tough economy?
You may be an employer. You may be a volunteer. Either way, can you explain how various machines work, how to do certain jobs, etc., in low-wage fields like janitorial, assembly, warehousing or food preparation?
You will speak:
- On a weekday, early in the month
- 1 hour or more, approximately
We are located near 79th Street in Chicago.
The workshop attendees are adults, mostly African-American (however everyone is welcome here), unemployed, mostly general labor, and with a high school diploma, GED or less. Some have convictions, like drugs and fights and stuff, and all are "pre-qualified to work" by the organization.
They want to hear from you . . . Just prepare to explain the requirements for the work and the attributes of the worker who is successful in this type of job. Describe equipment, trends and techniques during your talk too. Just talk frankly to the group.
Perhaps you are unemployed with experience in warehouse, manufacturing, maintenance, construction, cleaning, security or food preparation? You are welcome to speak as well. The speaking assignment is simply to explain, at a "beginner" level, how to perform work at the ENTRY LEVEL in your field.
