Bodhi Path Buddhist Center of Chicago is part of an international network of Tibetan Karma Kagyü Buddhist Centers dedicated to offering high quality instruction in meditation and Buddhist Philosophy from authenitc, highly qualified teachers. Bodhi Path was founded by H. H. Shamar Rinpoche, lineage holder of the Karma Kagyü school.
Note: We host special events by visiting Buddhist teachers on a monthly basis.

Weekly Meditation Sessions
Tuesdays at 8:00pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
Open to the public and free of charge.
Please check our calendar for details.
Sessions begin with a brief introduction, followed by sitting meditation. Meditation instruction is available to newcomers. Afterwards, we have a reading and discussion group (open to all) and serve refreshments. The center offers a casual, welcoming atmosphere and newcomers are welcome to stop by and ask questions.
We also host monthly special events.

Directions
NOTE: Due to CTA construction, the Irving Park Brown Line stop is currently closed for rennovation. Use Montrose or Addison instead.
- Take CTA's Brown Line to the Irving Park stop.
- Exit the station going EAST and walk one block to Ravenswood Ave.
Note: Be sure to walk past the viaduct, under the commuter train tracks, so you are on the eastern part of Ravenswood Ave (Ravenswood Ave. runs on both sides of the rail line).
- Go LEFT (NORTH) on Ravenswood to #4043.
- Take Metra's Union Pacific North Line (Chicago - Kenosha) to the Ravenswood stop.
- Exit to the EAST side of the tracks (Ravenswood Ave runs on both side of the rail line).
- Walk SOUTH on Ravenswood Ave, approx 6 blocks, to #4043.
Driving from Lake Shore Drive:
- Exit Lake Shore Drive at Irving Park Road
- Drive WEST on Irving Park Road approx 1.5 miles to Ravenswood Ave.
- Turn right on Ravenswood (east of the viaduct) to #4043.
Driving from the North on I-90/94:
- Exit at Keeler Ave (Exit #44A) toward Irving Park Rd.
- Veer LEFT onto Irving Park Rd, drive approx 3 miles
- Turn LEFT onto Ravenswood Ave to #4043.
Driving from the South on I-90/94:
- Exit at Damen Ave (Exit # 47B)
- Turn RIGHT onto Damen Ave.
- Drive approx 1.5 miles to Addison St. and go RIGHT.
- Drive 2 blocks to Ravenswood Ave, go LEFT to #4043.
