**Unique opportunity-Nanny/Therapist for 4.5 yr.old
Looking for a unique individual to work as a Nanny/Therapist for highest functioning 4.5-yr. old boy minally on the autism spectrum disorder scale.
This person must be strong minded and enthusiastic, fun, creative, a self-starter, team player and dedicated to the speciality of high functioning PDD.
This is a part-time experience which starts at 4:00 pm to late evening during the week 5 days), however availability on Saturdays (9-5) is a plus (total of 18-25 hours per week). Proof of Experience with toddlers using ABA/VB and/or Floortime/DIR is required.
This individual will be working in conjunction with speech and OT therapists, teachers, and parents.
Most of the hours are spent hands-on with our son – engaging in productive play, care-taking (preparing meals, feeding, laundry, etc.) and coordinating a schedule. This person will implement therapy techniques into natural environment scenarios (store visits, park, library, music class, etc.) and assist with life skills (bath, dressing, eating,) This position will require driving, but a vehicle is provided; a clean driving record and US citizenship a must.
There is an opportunity for additional hours if you wish.
