Varsity Tutors is an elite tutoring company providing one-on-one academic and test prep tutoring services in students' homes and other convenient locations. We are seeking outstanding tutors to join our team.
We are currently seeking tutors in the North Shore (Northbrook, Glenview and Highland Park). Northwest suburbs (Park Ridge, Niles, Schaumburg, Arlighton Heights) and South Suburbs (Oak Lawn, Flossmoor, Tinley Park).
Positions are available to work with students in the following subject areas and standardized test preparation:
*ACT and SAT preparation
*ISAT and HSPT preparation
*SAT Subject Test preparation
*Mathematics – Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics
*Science – Biology, Chemistry, Physics
*Essay writing
*Spanish and Latin
*Elementary reading and mathematics
Requirements:
*Minimum Test Scores: ACT 31 Composite or SAT 1420 (no writing) 2100 (writing included)
*Extremely effective communicator
*Friendly and patient personality
*Have reliable transportation
*Tutoring and/or teaching experience strongly preferred
