We are seeking an Electrical Engineer, located within a reasonable commuting distance of our Fredericksburg, VA offices. Leading candidates will have 5+ years experience with Power/Electromagnetic Fields/Radio Frequency Fields and experience working with technical clients doing real engineering. This is an ideal opportunity for a junior-level engineer to work with top experts around the world solving real problems that make a societal difference.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• BS in Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years EMI or closely related field
• PE registration or EIT preferred
• Proven mastery of electrical engineering design principles and techniques.
• Ability to creatively apply engineering principles and techniques in small dynamic work environments.
• Computer skills such as; Word, Excel, Office, CAD, Simulations and 3D Modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leadership in problem resolution through comprehensive cause/effect analysis, implementing creative mechanical, software and/or electrical solutions.
• Analyzing data and writing accurate engineering reports in a timely manner
• Meet and interact with clients
• Understand all EMI services we provide and ability to market and sell appropriate services to clients
• Work with leading architectural firms on EMI solution mitigation as part of a project team
• Document engineering specifications, write specification documents
• Perform basic to complex engineering computations
• Program management to ensure timely completion of high-quality deliverables
