Project Supervisor Description:
HeiTech Services is seeking a Project Supervisor for a full-time on-site assignment in Chicago, Illinois, supporting a client at the Department of Labor.
Job functions include:
• Managing and implementing overall contract requirements
• Overseeing day-to-day activities of a support center, including supervising a help desk
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate a team of analysts
• Foster a work environment that respects individuals, promotes teamwork and cooperation, and encourages innovation and new ideas
• Implement staffing plans and performance measurement systems for a production-based operation
The project supervisor is responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining work processes and rules, assisting in developing productions goals for analysts, and monitoring staff performance. The supervisor will perform case processing activities similar to those required of the analysts—it is expected that the supervisor will be fully capable of performing the tasks associated with the analysts and should be ready to assist as time allows and during peak work load to prevent backlogs.
The project supervisor will work with and coordinate K4’s activities with the Chicago National Processing Center Federal Certifying Officers and the NPC Director.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 – 7 years experience managing and motivating personnel in a production-based environment
• Experience managing and motivating personnel in a production-based environment
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written with all levels of personnel
• Capable of working independently and providing guidance to lower-level personnel to meet production goals
• Experience with application processing is desired but not required
