Duties and responsibilities include:<br>

Involvement with all HR matters of the organization:  employee relations, performance management, compensation decision making, benefits administration, recruitment and selection, and policies and procedures.<br>
                   Be the go to person for employee relations matters to ensure a responsive, supportive culture.<br>
                   Support the performance management process which involves goal setting, performance evaluations and feedback discussions.<br>
	Weigh in on compensation planning and decision making.<br>
	Manage benefits communications, assist employees with all benefits questions and solve administrative issues.<br>
	With open positions, source candidates, screen and interview candidates and participate in selection decisions.<br>
	Maintain handbooks, interpret policy, provide guidance to employees and managers on all policies and procedures.<br>

Position description development for all employees.<br>
Involvement with all employee communications and culture development activities: recognition programs, company communications and meetings, new hire orientations, exit interviews, etc. <br>
Familiarity with time keeping systems to track attendance, paid time off, etc.<br>
Coordination of basic safety activities including accident investigation and record keeping<br>
HRIS maintenance and analysis; development of reports from database. <br>
Compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment matters.  File annual EEO-1 report.<br>
Development of company organization charts and employee directory.<br>

Experience in these industries is not required, but having the intelligence and initiative to learn the different jobs in these industries in crucial.  The most important part of this role is to be abe to research and find companies who hire in these fields nationwide and to to be able cold call and convert these leads to job placements for our college graduates.  You must have excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office.  You will support the VP of Career Services and Human Resources with administrative duties - filing, processing new hire paperwork, and typing employer contact information into an iCims databse.  iCims experience is a plus, but we will train.  Starting salary is 38K per year plus full insurance benefits (health, dental, life, disability, and 401k).  We have nine paid holidays, 3 weeks of paid PTO time, and two floating holidays. Experience/Training:  <br>
1.	Bachelors Degree required or relevant benefits experience may be substituted with the approval of the Director of Human Resources.<br>

2.	Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. <br>

3.	At least three (3) years experience in benefits administration preferred. <br>
<br>

	Keep abreast of new or updated benefit rules and regulations. <br>
	Create and generate People Soft reports as needed.<br>
	Responsible for HIPAA compliance.<br>

Directly responsible for 16 existing accounts with anticipated growth within that book of business over the next 12 months.  The Account Manager works directly with the Managing Consultant on each account, with primary responsibilities to include: day to day issues, policy implementation, marketing of existing plans, client relationship maintenance, various client-specific analyses and reports throughout the year, and independent presentations to clients.  The accounts are high profile colleges and universities with 200-1,000 employees.<br>

The primary contact for the Account Manager to the client is the HR Director and the Benefits Manager of the College These are the people that the Account Manager is building a relationship with.  The job is from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  The Account Manager should anticipate overnight travel 1-3 nights per month on average.<br>

The ideal candidate will have, at minimum, a college degree, 3 years of related insurance experience, and a Life/Health Insurance license.  People with backgrounds in Human Resources or employment within educational institutions may also be considered.
