It is also placed in an antique setting with 4 prongs so that the rock will stay set. The ring is simply amazing...
I am also giving you the custom Spalted Maple engagement ring box with amazing wood veneer work of a Butterfly(symbolizing a new beginning) hand-cut out of Mother of Pearl; this is just the outside. On the inside of the box, lies an Infinity Symbol(symbolizing eternal commitment) made out of hand-cut Abalone Shell. The ring rests in a bed of dark blue velvet, Jane Burke (renown wood worker) thought this color would highlight the ring best; I agreed. Lady's diamond and sapphire pendant crafted in 14k white gold in an open contemporary style with all of the stones randomly placed along one side or edge of this elliptical-shaped piece. All stones are bezel-set. There on one pear-shape sapphire, in a desirable corn-flower blue color and it has a weight of 1.36cts. There are four round diamonds, all G color, VS2-SI1 clarity with a total weight of 0.86 cts., there are two square diamonds, G/H color, SI1 clarity, approximate total weight of .20 cts. and there are two Marquise shape diamonds, H color, SI1 clarity, total weight of .50cts. This pendant hangs from a bail that echoes the shape of the piece, designed by The Goldsmith Ltd, Chicago.
