Litigation Paralegal
Foley & Mansfield, a professional limited liability partnership, is a national law firm with more than 100 attorneys in offices from coast to coast. We provide legal expertise, creative solutions and extensive trial experience for large corporations, small businesses and individuals.
We are seeking a professional experienced litigation paralegal. Duties include but are not limited to the following: legal and fact research; assist attorneys in investigations and drafting discovery requests; and manage caseload, including drafting correspondence, document acquisition, organization, trial preparation, review and analysis; excellent communication with clients, other counsel, witnesses, court personnel, government agencies and vendors.
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
·Paralegal certificate or equivalent degree or work experience.
·2 to 5 years litigation experience, preferably with asbestos experience.
·Experience with litigation support and calendaring software for managing documents, caseload, deadline and events.
·Experience handling complex litigation in state or federal courts.
·Ability to enhance firm’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
·Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications.
·Ability to lift 25 lbs.
