Chicago-based women's retailer is looking to fill an online marketing position.
- Determine strategic outlook and marketing philosophy for the website
- Regular analysis of traffic statistics to determine shopping trends and develop initiatives to deliver content and goods
- Maintenance of creative content sections such as the blog, travel journal, press, brand summaries
- Report on regular marketplace and competition analysis to uncover trends and attitudes in online commerce and to develop responses
- Research and campaign creation for third-party channels including social network sites, shopping-oriented sites, bulletin boards and other viral channels
- Research and campaign and incentive creation for online advertising opportunities
- Participate in creative campaigns on planning, execution and/or deployment levels
- Creating, scheduling and executing a direct emailing campaign targeted to specific customer groups
- Drafting and/or implementing recommendations for site improvements targeted to increase sales and brand identity
- Knowledge and experience in SEO, link building and social marketing, etc.
- Drafting and/or implementing new site initiatives to increase product and site appeal, as well as determining new methods to engage customers
- Identifying offline channel opportunities to increase brand awareness and customer retention
Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work with vendors, solve problems, as well as be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Candidate must have strong understanding of e-commerce retailing, have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to grow existing business and branding.
