A major advertising agency in beach-side Santa Monica, California, is seeking a technically-proficient Web Analyst with 2+ years experience to join a growing agency Web analytics team. The role entails working with the Senior Data Analyst, project managers, and Web developers to plan, design and successfully implement data capture and measurement methodologies across a series of agency-developed and managed Web sites.
His/her primary responsibility will be to plan for accurately capturing end-to-end user interaction data across all client Web sites based on predefined business and learning objectives. The Web Analyst will also be involved in advanced analysis and reporting of Web behavior data to identify key findings and draw actionable insights.
The ideal candidate must have significant experience in customizing and implementing Web Analytics software (preferably Omniture’s SiteCatalyst) by defining conversion events and creating custom variables to capture accurate Web behavior data. He/she should also have working knowledge of Web development and database design/querying and enjoy working in a collaborative environment with other analysts, project managers and Web developers.
Must be a fast learner and possess great attention to detail, possess fluent knowledge of information technology and have an adaptable nature, as the many Web sites which we develop are both complex and varied in purpose.
Relocation is an option.
