Description
We seek an experienced, ambitious sales professional capable of developing and expanding our product lines. Preference is given to those with sales experience involving pets or pet products or pet food. The ideal candidate will have established contacts in the pet industry.
Seeking professionals who enjoy and excel working independently in an entrepreneurial setting. Individuals must have drive, and confidence to introduce and sell new products to the pet market. Must be fully capable of generating leads, making appointments, and closing deals with prospective customers. Must have a proven track record of sales success. This is an independent contractor position.
We are a new company manufacturing and selling innovative products to the pet industry. The pet industry is one of the fastest growing markets as consumers continue to spend big money on their pets. Generate new business in an unlimited market. Join our team and grow with us!

Job Requirements
• 3 to 5 years outside sales experience on commission basis.
• Experience in pet food/supply industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of territory/region and ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Proven abilities to prospect and close new business accounts.
• Solid product marketing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong closing skills.
• Effective time and territory management skills.
• Demonstrated performance above required sales quotas.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and building client relationships.
• Drive to sell and grow territory volume, number of customer accounts, and sales revenue.
• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated work habits, and the ability to succeed in a telecommuting work arrangement.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
