George Street Photo & Video, a fast-growing Wedding Photography and Videography studio with locations in Chicago, Schaumburg, and Naperville/Lisle, is seeking talented and experienced Digital Wedding Photographers. An artistic vision, professional equipment, reliable transportation, a great attitude, and a love of photography are required. We welcome applicants from the entire Chicagoland area, as our studio photographs weddings throughout Chicago and the suburbs. Please see below for additional requirements:
• Experience photographing weddings as a main photographer (minimum 25 weddings)
• Proficient portraiture and photo documentary skills with a solid portfolio
• Ability to photograph both traditional and photojournalistic photography styles
• Ability to travel in and outside of the Chicago area; a reliable car is required
• Willingness to accommodate weekend time for work in advance
• 2 professional grade digital SLR camera bodies
• Professional lenses covering 18mm, 28mm, 50mm, and 200mm focal lengths; can be zoom lenses
• Must be responsible, efficient, capable of self-direction, and able to work well with others
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and without direct supervision
• Confident, energetic, and self-motivated with a great attitude
