About us: We provide housing and case management services to young boys and girls, ages infant through 17. Our program participants include unaccompanied minors, wards of the state, and other detained populations. We are proud to provide them with a structured, safe and friendly environment as we work to help reunite them with family, or otherwise move on to their next step.
We’re growing. Our funding remains strong, despite the current economy, and we are looking for the right people to help us grow in a meaningful way.
We are actively recruiting for the following leadership positions.
Director level positions are based at our residential sites and are responsible for overall staff management, program operations, and strategic planning.
Director – International Children’s Center in Beverly (ICCB)
Director – Specialized Care for Immigrant Youth (SCIY)
Since 1995, our Unaccompanied Youth programs have served boys and girls from all over the world. Fostering an atmosphere of family and security, we attend to the emotional, legal, medical, educational, and recreational needs of the children until they can be reunited with their families either in the U.S. or in their home country. The children have a range of needs from very basic care and services, to more intensive mental health and behavioral treatment. ICCB is located in Beverly (near Chicago’s south suburbs), SCIY is located in Des Plaines.
Requirements:
• 8 years experience in staff supervision, program planning, social service administration, fiscal management and policy development and implementation
• 5 years experience working with youth in a residential or an institutional setting
• Bilingual
• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
Director – Neon Street Program
Since 1986, Neon Street Programs have helped prevent homeless youth from becoming homeless adults through an array of programs: From a daytime drop-in center to a residential program, youth are able to develop a supportive community of caring adults, family, resources and skills they need to lead healthy and productive lives. Located in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood.
Requirements:
• 8 years experience in staff supervision, program planning, social service administration, fiscal management and policy development and implementation
• 5 years experience working with youth in a residential or an institutional setting
• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
Associate Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the clinical services provided throughout all of our programs and for ensuring the quality of care and compliance with funder and licensing requirements in the area of mental health services. Supervisory duties are also involved. Located on Chicago’s North side.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in social work with at least two years of clinical and supervisory experience.
• Illinois LCSW
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Manager and Supervisor level positions work on site at our residential facilities and provide oversight and guidance for general program operations and management of our direct service staff, including providing services to program participants, performance management of staff, implementation of policies and procedures, training, quality assurance, and more.
Manager and Supervisor - International Children’s Center
Located on Chicago’s North side.
Manager and Supervisor - International Children’s Center in Beverly
Located in Beverly (near Chicago’s South suburbs)
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years of supervisory and relevant experience is required
• Bilingual ability is strongly preferred, Spanish is a preferred language
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
