Resource Pool Opportunities
Our Resource Pool is made up of part time employees who enjoy flexible scheduling, including 2nd and 3rd shifts, during the week and on weekends.
We have resource Pool opportunities available at each of our residential sites, located in:
• North side of Chicago
• Beverly (near Chicago’s south suburbs)
• Des Plaines
At these sites, we provide housing and case management services to young boys and girls, ages infant through 17. The backgrounds of our young clients are varied and include youth who have been detained by the DHS. We are proud to provide them with a structured, safe and friendly environment as we work to help reunite them with family, or otherwise move on to their next step.
Case Managers and Caseworkers – YRS Resource Pool
Provide assessment, and case management services, conduct intakes, participate in the implementation of counseling, education or activity groups, and supervise program participants individually or in groups. Candidates should have at least three years experience in case work, human services or a related field, or a combination of secondary education and experience.
Behavioral Health Technicians – YRS Resource Pool (in Des Plaines only)
Provides basic case management services to residents, to include milieu supervision, life skills trainings and leading therapeutic groups. Candidates should have two years experience working with youth in a residential or institutional setting. Experience working in a psychiatric hospital or similar setting preferred. Bilingual ability in Spanish is required.
Security Specialists – YRS Resource Pool
Security Specialists provide advanced security services and attend to the safety, security and transportation needs of program participants, including but not limited to unaccompanied minors, wards of the state and other detained populations. This position supervises program participants individually, or in groups and provides security for the safety and well-being of staff and program participants. Candidates must have 3 years of experience in security and transportation, and a valid driver’s license. A valid PERC card is required prior to beginning employment.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is STRONGLY preferred for all positions
• All candidates must successfully pass a background check.
