POSITION TITLE: Program Supervisor
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and monitor client activities, and provide clinical direction and intervention as indicated.
In concert with the Supportive Living Program (SLP) team, identify residents with special needs (including but not limited to mental illness, substance abuse, recovery issues, non-HIV related health issues) and oversee the service provision and clinical direction for each such resident.
Supervise the performance of program staff
In cooperation with the Support Services/Volunteer Manager, coordinate the activities and performance of all unpaid staff
Coordinate the graduate level internship program; train, mentor and supervise all graduate level students
Conduct intake interviews and facilitate client admissions
Oversee the provision of residential services and implementation of policies
Recommend policy changes and the addition of new policies and procedures
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other service providers, networks and outside consultants
Oversee the development and implementation of resident case work plans
Ensure adequate staffing for the SLP program
Maintain all necessary records relating to staffing, resident information and service delivery
Attend staff and program-specific meetings, as required
Oversee inventory of supplies and food policies
Serve in role as teacher and mentor to staff by sharing clinical knowledge and experience, as indicated.
Facilitate group supervision for staff and schedule social work consultants monthly visits.
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years experience supervising a professional social service staff; familiarity with HIV disease; experience in residential services preferred
Masters degree required, preferably a MSW; LCSW preferred or LCSW eligible
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
Team oriented management style
Bilingual/bicultural preferred
