I don't need to rehome them all, but each group needs to stay together - I will not seperate best buddies, and single rats are not happy healthy rats!
1) Kaba & Laney - These are unrelated girls who are about 4-5 months old. Laney is a Black Bareback - meaning she has a black "hood" but no other markings on her white body (including no stripes or spots down her back). Laney can be nippy when she thinks you have food, so I maintain a "no feeding through the bars" policy with her, and she'll need more handling to learn that fingers aren't food! Kaba is a "Double Rex" - this means she is similar to a hairless rat, but she grows in a light coat of fur and then loses it again, its' a constant cycle. Double Rexes are the product of having two parents that are Rex (curly fur). For this reason, she has a face only a mother could love! I haven't had time to hold Kaba much and so she is fairly jumpy when held, but with daily interaction I am sure she'll overcome this! Kaba must have a wheel to run in, as she LOVES to run run run all night long! These girls are in a cage with a few other girls and are doing well with them, so they may do well with other girls as well!
2) Zucca & Calla - these are two very cute girls who are very bonded! Calla is has a black hood with thick black stripe down her back. I am told she's almost a year old but she is TINY so I don't know if that is accurate or not. Calla has the BIGGEST eyes I've ever seen on a rat! She is a bit jumpy and nippy when you put your hand in her cage, but through working a bit with her, she's settling down, and I know with some more work she'll be a sweetie! Zucca is a silvered black Berkshire (black with white tummy) - she is the sweetest girl ever and loves attention; she is very calm (a trait rarely seen in rattie girls!) I was told when I got her that she's abotu 1 1/2 years old but I don't know about that accuracy.
3) Hawes & Igby - these are very interesting boys, both of whom are very shy! I believe they are about 5-6 months old. Hawes is, like his sister Kaba, a Double Rex. His coat grows in and out a lot more frequently than his sister's, and he often looks very patchy. He almost looks like a "Plague" rat, LOL, but he is very healthy! He needs some more socialization but does not bite or nip. Igby has a tan hood and stripe down his back. He is a special needs rat, as I fully believe he has vision problems due to a previous eye injury in addition to having ruby eyes (which can often lead to poor vision). For this reason, he is a bit more timid and prefers to stay in one area of his cage (with his buddy Hawes), and also if you approach him too fast or he doesn't see your hand coming, he can bite but only out of fear, but has never drawn blood. He is a sweet boy, though, and likes to be held once he trusts you! These boys are currently in a large cage with several other boys and get along very well, they are the timid submissive ones and never cause trouble! (The photo of Hawes is during a patchy phase!)
4) Timo, LT and Captain - these are three very bonded boys, unrelated, but all about the same age, I'd say about 4 months old. Timo is a brown agouti with white belly. He has the cutest round little face, but don't let that face fool you, if your hand goes anywhere near his cage, he can and will bite, and has drawn blood. I firmly believe he thinks you have food, as he RIPS food from hands as well. This should be able to be trained out of him with more socialization, and he doesn't bite when you are holding him outside of the cage. LT is an albino sweetie that is just calm and sweet, and loves to run in his wheel and wouldn't hurt a fly! Captain is a black hooded boy with stripe down his back! He's also a very sweet boy and never bites or nips!
