Here's the deal - i'm bored, FEENING to get out of Chicago and thought a road trip would be a great time. Sadly, I have no car that will make it further than Schaumburg. I don't have a particular place in mind and am open to suggestion, especially if it involves a 'theme' trip - like odd tourist traps, or heading to the beach or a national park. Whatever. It all makes me happy.

I'm 31, female, live on the north side. I don't kick puppies, I do tend to swear, and no, I don't smoke. I'm very relaxed and would prefer to meet the same. Also, please be within a reasonable age range, say 24-35, just so that it's not awkward. The trip can be a couple days, a weekend, or a week. I'm happy to split the cost of gas, and don't care if the car is small as I travel light. Good music and good conversation are the main requirements I have. I have room left on a bus that my group will be taking for the Saturday show at Alpine. We have done this is the past and this year we have extra seats. The bus has a restroom (this was huge last year with the long line to get into the lots) and we will be picking up in front of Gordy's in Fontana, WI. We anticipate picking up at 3pm and will leave the parking lot shortly (30-60min) after the encore. The cost of the bus will be $30 a person.

This is a great way to enjoy the concert and tailgate in a safe way.

I am moving back to Seattle for medical school. I plan on leaving around August 10th or 11th and have to be in Seattle on the 14th.

I am moving some of my stuff and cat but would love some company along the way from someone willing to share the driving and gas. I drive a well maintained Ford Focus that gets great gas mileage so that will help with the cost. There would only be room for yourself and a small overnight bag/backpack as my trunk and part of the back seat will be full.

I'd prefer to drive straight through stopping for possibly 1-2 nights at a cheap motel.

It would be great if we could meet beforehand maybe for some coffee or a beer to make sure we can stand each other for the 32 hour drive. :)

If you are planning on going somewhere along the way to Seattle I would be happy to drop you off as long as it is on the main route.
