Hi,

Telecom Network Tier II support Engineer ( B.S. or M.S. in Telecommunications Engineering required ) ( work visa conversion is okay ).
We are looking for a Telecom engineer who will be part of a team of experts responsible for managing network performance, network deployment and more. This job will require a diverse knowledge of OSS/server platforms, network and access infrastructure elements, radio equipment, and customer premise equipment.

Responsibilities:
• Analysis of network performance data and alerts.
• Support the introduction of new software releases for network elements
• Work with the wireless access network, layer-2 and 3 networks, microwave and fiber transport, and server applications.
• Monitor Network KPIs and take proactive action to avert network performance degradation
• Assist with the implementation of documentation and procedures to support operation of the network
• Troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution of day-to-day network issues.
• Generating requirements to development organizations for network operational and performance enhancements

Qualifications:
• Understanding of Radio Access Networks, Unix/Linux servers, Layer-2/Layer-3 networking, wired transport, wireless transport, and/or RF performance and analysis
• Previous experience with routers, switches, site controllers and Motorola or Samsung RAN equipment is a plus
• Experience in troubleshooting routers, switches to the circuit (DS1, DS3, OC-3 and OC-12) level, troubleshoot and identify issues and resolutions relating to RF/RAN devices to include point to point microwaves.
• Knowledge and use of scripting languages such as Perl, Python or others preferred
• Min 3-5 year’s industry experience including recent practical experience providing technical support in a hands-on production environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Team player.
• Ability to work day, evening, and weekends as required
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Telecommunications engineering is required.
