Sales Representative: Scaffolding, Swing Stages, Aerial Lifts and Forklifts

Sells and rents construction equipment for International Equipment to businesses or groups of individuals in the private and public sectors. Work requires substantial knowledge of items, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to negotiate terms of contracts. As well as extensive knowledge of scaffold design, engineering, erection, dismantlement, job estimating and costing.

Tasks
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs.
• Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales in an effort to increase organization’s sales.

• Management – Responsible for handing down orders, when appropriate, to warehouse employees.
• Paperwork completion – Bid, quote, and prepare reservations for customers orders. Also requirement to fill non-DOT logs.
• Misc. Tasks – When needed including loading trucks, pulling orders, moving equipment. Everyone loads trucks when help is needed, regardless of position.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent, GED, etc.
• Experience in outside/inside sales
• Established Customer Contacts within Industry
• Experience in Swing Stage and Aerial Lift Sales a plus
• Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
