Established distributor of hydraulics, pneumatics, electro-mechanical devices and custom tube bending since 1954, is in need of a technical sales oriented individual to fill the position of Outside Account Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
•Achieve Sales Plan by creating new opportunities, while maintaining and expanding the existing established territory.
•Provide exceptional customer service to our existing customers whom use fluid power and require occasional automation projects (OEM & MRO).
•Market all company represented products.
•Solve problems and create value for clients (i.e. improve productivity, improve quality, decrease costs, decrease plant down time, etc.)
•Build quick, strong alliances and business relationships with personnel at all levels in the organizations on which you will be calling.

Requirements:
•Knowledge of industrial / mobile fluid power.
•Must be organized and able to work independently; while also working with other operational departments including engineering, customer service and purchasing.
•A technical degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred, but not required: electrical, mechanical or industrial.
•One year's sales experience (preferred but not required) as a salesperson involving some type of technical, value-added sale (Ex:Pumps, Motors, Motion Control, Process Machinery, etc.)
•Will consider technical and sales experience in a complimentary industry or in-plant process or project engineering experience with a desire to move outside.
