The professional that we seek to hire will become part of our Federal Practice area and provide database and systems support to a Federal applications processing center.
Description of Duties
The Database/Systems Analyst shall provide and maintain technology services to effectively plan, operate, and maintain technology solutions. The technology specialist shall work cooperatively with existing on-site data technology specialist to coordinate
any overlapping activities. The technology specialist must have the qualifications and experience to design and implement technology solutions to enhance contact center capabilities and effectiveness as the contact center progresses in sophistication. The specialist will monitor on a daily basis system performance and identify and resolve system problems. The specialists will maintain a log of system problems such as outages, service interruptions and other information that will inform the government and improve service.
Position Responsibilities include:
• Analyzing program requirements to develop program or administrative systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.
• Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of government program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
• Developing ad-hoc queries to access government program data, extract and prepare data in a variety of electronic formats for end users, and respond effectively to requests for case, trend, or other program information from government management staff
• Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes and multimedia and Internet technology, to automate staff functions designed to improve work flow.
• Test, maintain, and monitor government program applications and other related systems.
• Train staff and users to work with government program applications and other related systems, and, where necessary, provide assistance in solving computer related problems and issues.

Candidate Requirements:
• A minimum a four year college degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis on computer sciences or related area,
• A minimum of three years professional experience developing and maintaining relational databases, SQL and Oracle,
• Good interpersonal skills
Security:
Selected candidate will undergo a Government Security Clearance.

- Compensation: $60,000 to $82,500/year
