My roommates and I are looking to sublet three bedrooms in our Hyde Park apartment from June 15 through the middle of September. Male or female subletters are fine, and DATES ARE FLEXIBLE.
The apartment is on the third floor of a six flat with a responsive owner who lives on the first floor. He and his wife have owned the building for over thirty years. There's never been a break-in, and they're very good about signing for packages, etc. They also keep the backyard looking very nice, with lots of flowers and ridiculously green grass. It's a great place for summer barbeques (and we have a grill!).
The apartment is located in the heart of Hyde Park, a block away from restaurants, CVS, a laundromat, and the Hyde Park Produce Market (the best store in Hyde Park). It's also walking distance from the University of Chicago and across the street from a playground.
The Metra is a 15-minute walk and gets you downtown in under 20 minutes (it's great if you're interning downtown, like we did last summer). The green and red lines are about 10-15 minutes away by bus.
