Position Summary: Conference Center A.V. Technician
Identify major Job objectives and initiatives.
• Assists in audio-visual positioning of sets and props, as directed.
• Delivers, sets up, tests, and operates audio-visual equipment for organization meetings.
• Maintains equipment and troubleshoots equipment problems.
• Coordinates equipment operation by lifting and moving of equipment from one aria to another.
• Installs and operates equipment such as microphones, VCRs, DVDs, TV monitors, overhead projectors and computers.
• May advice speakers and presenters on media alternatives.
• Knowledge and Skills: Identify the qualifications
• Understand language(s), software or registrations required to perform this job.
• Basic A.V skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position. Focuses
Ability to effectively communicate information in a manner easily understood by visitors and fellow employees.
Education or Equivalent
• Collage or trade school
• 4 years of field experience
