Seeking motivated and creative videographer/editor with own gear, to shoot and edit short web-videos for promotion of commercial real estate properties. Working in conjunction with a producer, you will be responsible for shooting properties, interviews, b-roll and the editing all footage to deliver a cohesive, professional end-product.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Capturing footage and sound with personal equipment.
- Responsible for all editing, including: basic graphics, color correcting and mixing sound.
- Edit review with producer, and complete revisions when necessary.
- Create electronic link of (final) video and master DVD dubs.
Qualifications:
- Must have own equipment (with proof of insurance): Professional or pro-sumer HD camera, boom mic & wireless mic, small light-kit or ability to rent kit when necessary.
- Excellent editing skills – works quickly (key).
- Must own a car – expect to travel throughout the greater Chicagoland area.
- Must be able to work from own space.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be flexible.
- Must be available to start soon.
This is a part-time, freelance position, which will lead to much more work for the right person.
This is lower budget but quality work - a great opportunity for the right person.
