Small production studio looking for an experienced FCP editor for 25-40hrs/week, and must be available between 10am-6pm, Monday-Friday
- Must have at least 3 years experience with FCP, Photoshop, Compressor, DVDSP, After Effects
- Experience with all aspects of editing, including exporting to multiple digital formats (for online & DVD delivery).
- Well organized individual capable of handling several projects simultaneously
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor when dealing with clients
- Self motivated and ability to manage a project from start to finish
- Good time management skills
- Knowledge of HD and multiple format editing and exporting
- Shooting experience a big plus
We're a relaxed, yet professional, small company. Therefore there will be times we need help with other production tasks (transfer tapes, run copies, equipment pick-up/returns, etc.)
We handle a variety of projects from agency work, to corporate, to weddings. You would mostly be working on your own in our studio, but sometimes have edit sessions with clients.
We have a sliding scale of edit rates depending on clients and projects. Thus, pay is dependent on these factors.
$15/hr: Wedding/Non-Profits/misc studio work
$20/hr: Corporate
$25/hr: Commercial/Agency projects
Pay would be as a sub-contractor (1099)
We also offer a very generous bonus for any new projects you generate for the studio. This is optional and not required as part of your job description.
