We seek a worship leader/musician to lead weekly Sunday services starting in March 2010 (this will be our public weekly launch). She or he would be responsible for (1) choosing, preparing, rehearsing and leading music for Sunday services; (2) recruiting and overseeing the band; and (3) working with staff and volunteers to develop our A/V set-up. This is a part-time position but could easily grow: our future vision is multi-site ministry.
The ideal candidate will lead strongly on guitar and vocals (if you play keys or something else, too, let us know) with a broad musical range:
• folky/bluegrass/acoustic updates of traditional Christian hymns (think Sufjan Stevens);
• contemporary worship music (think Robbie Seay, Chris Tomlin)
• pop/rock from U2 to Indigo Girls to Ron Sexsmith
• ability to put down the guitar and teach people to sing an old spiritual a cappella, maybe even with different vocal parts.
Our ethos is experiential, fun, welcoming, and eclectic. We are not looking for a rock star but for someone who enjoys leading God’s people in worship and helping people discover the countercultural joy of singing *together*.

Chyna Fox is music evolved. A melting pot of genres, she mixes blues, rock, funk, and pop to get her unique sound. Her spicy lyrics stir up controversy with questions of religion, god, sexual limitations, politics, and social extremities. Though her lyrics are sometimes tantalizing and limit pushing, there is still certain innocence to her music.
Her guitarist, Collin Landinguin, recently joined her music endeavors. With 17 years of experience, touring with the League of Crafty Guitarists, and guitar craft sessions taught by Robert Fripp, he is a welcome addition to her sound.
Already guest appearing on more than a dozen albums and having toured 5 countries in Europe , she is ready to step out on her own. She draws inspiration anywhere from Prince to Nina Simone, or Queen to The Dresden Dolls. She’s currently playing shows with her band all around the Chicago area.

Below are the characters featured in “The Rent.”
Tim, early twenties, is is currently undeclared in college so as he says, “I can feel it out before I jump in.” He is currently in an on-again-off-again relationship with Mildred, a classmate of his. Usually the “straight man” of the two roommates, yet occasionally hatches some bizarre plans.
Ray, early twenties, is Tim’s slacker roommate. He’s the more “out there” of the two. He bathes regularly but never seems to have a “clean” look. He likes to wear message t-shirts and usually has shaggy facial hair.
Jimmy is Ray and Tim’s upstairs neighbor. Jimmy is a weasely kind of guy who lives by himself. He is supported by a revolving door of jobs. Every time he is fired he burns the bridge and is unable to return. Jimmy adds little to most conversations. He is always hanging out at Ray and Tim’s, but rarely lets them into his apartment.
Mildred is Tim’s attractive girlfriend. She hangs out at the guy’s apartment on occasion. She strongly dislikes Ray and Jimmy. Mildred sometime seems to have an icy heart, but will always help out the guys no matter what.
Cosgrove is Mildred’s fifty-something father. He’s a humorless, straight-shooting lawyer.
Carl , late twenties, is Tim’s creepy friend who communicates solely with facial expressions.

I am looking for models, extras and dancers that can dance for a music video. The music video is being shoot by UnderScore Films, LLC (www.underscorefilms) is for an artist named "JQ" and the name of the song is called "Sexy Move". The Music There will be auditions for this on Sunday, January 24th and rehearsals will be the week of Monday February 1st to Friday, February 5th 2009. This video will be shot from Monday, February 8th through Wednesday, February 10th at Sound-Bar and Dream lounge in Chicago, IL .
