I really recommend this place!!! This place is definitely a great bargain and well worth the money. I can say it is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. It is very big with all the extras you can imagine: big comfy beds, spa shower (like a massage), Internet, laundry, and more. It is a home, not just an empty rental. It is also VERY well stocked with necessities. It is in a safe neighborhood very close to public transportation. One of the biggest perks is the truly kind and helpful owner, who always answers his phone and helps you with anything you need. I'd stay for his helpfulness alone.

We enjoyed our stay and especially liked the hot tub and computer accessibility. The renter handled all transactions fairly and in a timely manner. I would highly suggest staying here over a hotel. It's a short walk to the train station and a short ride to downtown. No complaints!

This place is excellent. It is clean, spacious, and in a good part of town. I especially appreciated the computer/internet access and the incredible shower in the bathroom (it sprays water from several different directions!) Bob is a great guy to deal with, very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this rental to anyone!!

Bob was the only owner who was friendly enough to answer all our questions and emails. Hence we were completely confident that the flat would be nice and comfortable and even discovered that it was better than we thought: great multi-function shower, hot tub, great roomy kitchen and a computer with internet access. Bob also made a wonderful work to leave a extensive documentation about transportation, shop and restaurants which was really helpful. This is a list of the main amenities: Roof Deck with incredible view of Chicago skyline (weather permitting during winter weather), Cedar paneled addition with 6 person luxury hot tub. There are 1.5 baths. Bathroom #1 has a 5 foot by 3 ½ foot walk in steam bath shower with Grohe body sprays, Kohler bathroom fixtures, and marble floors. There is high speed wireless internet and a desktop PC for your use. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchens and bathrooms are stocked with many of the basics that you will need such as coffee, tea, paper products etc. I rent myself when I travel and I hate having to run out to get necessities that should be in the rental.

My vacation rental is located just south of downtown Chicago. We are very close to McCormick Place, I.I.T., There is a map link at the bottom of this ad. If you zoom the map out from street level and pan north, you can see where we are at in relation to the city center. Transportation to downtown, the museums, and the near north area of the city is simple. It is a 15 minute drive even in rush hour and there are trains, buses, and cabs readily available. There is a bus line 1 minute away and the train is a short walk away.

Take a look at the photo below that was taken from my roof deck and you can see just how close we are.

Another bonus of staying in our neighborhood is that you won't hear sirens and street noise all night long here. The fabulous restaurants of our Little Italy, Chinatown, and Greektown are very close and there are a lot of really great inexpensive places for meals in the immediate area. We have a corner store one minute away that has great homemade Italian and American sandwiches that include all of the Chicago traditional favorites at very reasonable prices.

Unlike most neighborhoods in Chicago, there is also plenty of street parking that is almost always within a few feet of my door.

Each rental, whether the two night minimum or more requires a $75 cleaning fee and a $200 security deposit. The maximum number of people that we want in this unit is 6 people as the apartment has 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds. We also have an air bed could be easily set up in the living room if you needed one more place to sleep. We don't rent the unit for parties of any kind or to younger adults and we also require that someone in the group must be 25 or older. We want you to have a great time and to enjoy yourself, but we don't want a frat party. Thanks for your understanding. Ok, enough rules, have fun in Chicago !!
