International Camp Counselor Program to Taiwan
Taichung YMCA English Day Camp gives children the opportunity to practice their English language skills while being challenged in daily English Lessons and participating in a variety of sports and group activities. This environment fosters increased learning while having fun! Campers will gain self-esteem and self-confidence in their abilities. Our bilingual local English camp counselors will work with you to lead children in daily language lessons and provide a positive English learning experience with focused on environment.

The International Camp Counselor Program to Taiwan
A. Qualifications
1. College students, age 19~25, male or female, native English speakers; YMCA member preferred.
2. Enjoy working and getting along well with children.
3. YMCA camping experience preferred.
B. Job Description
1. Counseling and instructing English Camp and lead camp activities.
2. Duration is about 7 weeks, from June 30th to August 15th, 2008. (one week for orientation, six weeks for camp activities)
3. English Day camp: 8:00am~5:30pm, Monday trough Friday. Saturday and Sunday are off.
C. Pay/Benefit:
1. The pay is US$200 per week for seven weeks (total US$1,400).
2. YMCA provides two meals a day-breakfast and lunch. Dinner is on your own.
3. YMCA provides accommodation--either home stay or youth hostel.
4. Medical and accident insurances are covered by YMCA while during the course of work period.
5. YMCA provides ground transportation between landing airport to Taichung City and between camp site and home stay/youth hostel.
6. The round-trip air ticket between the U.S. and Taiwan is on your own.
