SharePoint Designer
MXOtech a technology consulting firm located in Chicago is seeking a SharePoint Designer to join a team of successful developers working on healthcare projects. We are a Microsoft certified organization primarily utilizing .NET, C#, SQL Server 2005 and SharePoint on the Windows Server 2003 platform.
We are seeking a creative individual with SharePoint experience and SharePoint Designer. Minimum three to five years of hands on design experience is required. Strong experience with Photoshop is required. This individual must have an understanding of Windows SharePoint Services, exploring a SharePoint site, understanding the relationship between windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Server 2007 and considering complications of upgrading customized SharePoint Sites in SharePoint Designer.
Experience with the following tasks is required:
„« Understanding master pages
„« Creating web pages from master pages
„« Managing content placeholders and content regions
„« Resetting master page site definition
„« Creating customizable ASP.NET pages
„« Understanding CSS and Color-Coding options
„« Creating, modifying, and deleting styles
„« Using CSS
„« Examining core.css and default master
„« Working with the page editor options dialog box
„« Understand CSS inheritance
„« Exporting and importing sites
„« Creating and exporting data views
„« Deploying web parts
„« Using XML files as a data source
„« Creating and modifying and publishing page layouts
