What we need
We are small but successful SaaS company in the health care space that needs a mid-level UX / UI designer/developer with solid experience in ASP.Net to give our application a face-lift. Long-term this person will serve as our in-house UI / UX expert and contribute to future products and projects.

Responsibilities will include:
- Design the next generation UI for a successful SaaS application
- Understand and keep in mind the existing user base / application appearance to make a smooth transition
- Implement and integrate design with the current application
- Analyze and recommend ways to make common use cases in the application easier
- Communicate and evangelize UI / UX best practices to other developers
- Support other developers by making these policies as easy to follow as possible
- Prototype UI for new products and projects as they arise
- Contribute basic ASP.Net development to the SCRUM team as needed

Technical skills required:
- ASP.Net: we're an all Microsoft shop and you will definitely be getting your hands dirty in the code so at least 2 - 5 years of ASP.Net experience is required.
- CSS / XHTML - you will be the authority on presentation technologies within the company
- ASP.Net Ajax Framework
- Photoshop / Illustrator / etc...

Bonus skills:
- Telerik controls experience
- JQuery
- Any experience with report or other information graphic design
- Microsoft Reporting Services
- Flash or Silverlight

Work and team environment:
Our team is entirely virtual, meaning that everyone works from home full time. Aside from a few scheduled meetings and crunch times, you will largely be able to set your own working hours. We have found that self-motivated people do very well in this sort of environment. However, it is not ideal for people with difficulties focusing.

Process wise, we do our best to follow Agile development best practices, specifically SCRUM.
