ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are looking to hire one or two writers that have extensive experience in soccer instruction & coaching. We are putting together an instructional workbook for players. The two projects available are:
1. Workbook layout & hierarchy – What are the sections?
------------>This workbook will have main chapters that will include primarily technical skills (e.g. passing, shooting, controlling the ball…)
------------------>Each main chapter will contain sub-chapters (e.g. shooting could have: mental approach, power, placement, body & ball position, volleying, toe poke…)
------------------------>Each sub-chapter will contain development areas for the soccer player to complete (e.g. shooting/power might contain these areas: 1. Striking motion, 2. Leg position…)
2. Workbook content – What are the instructions for the player?
• For each area defined above (e.g. “Striking motion”) create a 30-75 word instructional paragraph that instructs the player on how to get better at that attribute.
In total, it is estimated that there might be 500-1000 total sections (e.g. 10 chapters * 10 sub-chapters per chapter * 5-10 areas per sub-chapter), with each section containing a 30-75 word instructional paragraph.
REQUIREMENTS
The writer must meet the following minimum requirements:
* 5+ years coaching at the U12-U19 level
* NSCAA diploma
* Access to coaching resources (websites, training manuals, books, peers)
* Ability to clearly articulate written information
