Content Manager - Q and A
Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage/optimize production workflows for our Question and Answer site:
o Auto-generated questions/answers
o Test questions/answers
o Manually-generated questions/answers
• Hire, fire and manage writer and QA teams for manually developed questions
• Design, and produce tests of different types of questions and question sources
• Uncover auto-generated opportunities through existing content, our parent company repositories, and potential partners.
• Synchronize question generation editorial with advertising revenue opportunities
• Determine new sources for Encyclopedia.com to acquire for questions
Measure Editorial effectiveness:
o Analyze regularly generated reports for actionable conclusions
o Run/analyze 1-off investigations
o Track test results and determine next steps
Qualifications
• 5+ years experience
• Strong quantitative and analytic experience
• Copyediting abilities
• Able to manage writing team
• Entrepreneurial self-starters only
• Must be Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Fluent in MS Office products with expert proficiency in Excel
