Publishing company with downtown Chicago location is looking for a detail-oriented editor with excellent writing and copyediting skills.
Job responsibilities will include writing magazine and Web site features and departments, rewriting of contributed material, proofreading magazine copy and contributing to all phases of editorial production.
The position requires three to five years of editing and reporting experience in a heavy manufacturing industry, strong writing and interviewing skills, solid organization abilities, knowledge of QuarkXpress, and a Bachelor's degree in journalism or English. Experience with promotional writing a plus.
