Preliminary Requirements for all Lionbridge Interpreters:

-US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card holder)

-Lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years

-One year prior Judiciary Interpretation experience 
<br>
-Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpretation Skills Required 
<br>

I am a new State Rep for District 59, Vernon Hills, and need a Chief of Staff to serve as “my right hand” in my District Office.  You will be responsible for managing the office, annual budget, and 2 p/t staff and 2 interns, handling constituents’ phone calls and appointment requests, scheduling my activity calendar, writing press releases and other correspondence, and occasionally attending meetings with me and/or on my behalf.   To be successful in this position, you need to be a high energy people person with a desire to compassionately listen, diplomatically handle difficult situations, juggle multiple tasks, and most importantly understand the importance of your role in serving the thousands of constituents that live in District 59.  You must have solid computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and some graphic design abilities.  The position is from 9-5 M-F with occasional evenings or weekends.
