I know it's still a few months away, but I thought I would start my search now. I am looking for a roomate or two beginning at the end of August or the first week of September.

About me: I'm 25, soon to be 26, gay, and work as a flight attendant. I've been living with my current roomates for four years now (we all met on craigslist)and we all have different agendas once our lease is up at the end of the summer. I'm neat, clean and respect other people's personal spaces. I enjoy going out to the bars (although not really the type to bring the party home), hanging out, etc. etc. I'm an outside smoker, but if things go as planned hopefully I will be smoke free by the end of the summer.

About the potential roomate(s): I'd prefer to live with one - two others, no more than that. Preferably a gay male, lesbian, straight female or a combination. Someone who is neat and CLEAN. How you keep your room is one thing, but the common areas are a different story. Ideally, I'd like to live with someone outgoing, friendly, and who wouldn't mind to have a roomate as their partner in crime on occassion. If you hole up in your room we'll probably not be a good match.

About the place: Somewhere in the Boystown area would be great! Something large enough that we won't get into each other's hair would be rad. Having our own bathrooms would be a huge asset but I'm not really picky. I don't have much, mainly only things to furnish my room and a few other odds and ends.

about me: I am going to school for music and anthropology, working toward my BA. I'm taking the summer off of school to work, but will be back at it full time come sept. I am vegetarian, and will be bringing my well behaved small cat with me. She's a must. Overall I'm pretty quiet, though I like to have fun, or randomly hold a long discussion about random intellectual or completely inane things. I watch a good amount of movies, lately a lot of foreign or indi. I play piano and guitar and musically listen to almost everything tho I prefer rock. I have a decent amount of furniture/ kitchen appliances, and don't mind sharing or storing them, as long as one of the two is an option.

Ideally I'd like to find some people I get along with and can hang out with from time to time. We don't have to be best buds but holding civil conversations, or sharing a movie night from time to time would be nice. Male or female would be fine. I'm reasonably clean and prefer the same. I am definitely looking for a place on the cheep side. I have a good rental history and can provide references on request but something at or below 450/month would be ideal.

I am an artist/'rocknroller', a vegetarian of almost 11 yrs, a "recycler", a bike/public transit rider, laid-back, HATE drama, and like to go out and enjoy nightlife on the weekends and occassionally a weekday or two with friends.
