VERY RARE Hand Built Motorcycle! - Less than 75 made in ’92 and only 216 total Buell RS's made from 1989 – 1993.

Low Mileage for a '92! Only 8000 miles on bike, and 2500 miles (approx) on engine rebuild, according to the previous owner.


Harley Sportster 1200 eng w/ 5 Spd. Trans with lots of engine work done:
• Ported and Polished Heads
• Cams - was told by previous owner but don't know the specs.
• S&S Super “E” Carb
• M/C Ignition

Fully adjustable suspension - Inverted Front Forks with PM 6 Piston Front Brake, and Old Style White Bros Shock.

The bodywork was taken off before winter but unfortunately I have no time for it anymore. I bought this bike several years ago to restore it, but have never gotten the time to, so, I’m in hopes of someone with the appreciation and love to put her back to her original glory. Bike hasn’t been started in a couple of years and has been stored in a heated garage ready for someone to bring her back to life.

PLENTY of power!!! The engine ran VERY STRONG but did puff a little when in sitting in traffic on hot days.

The previous owners were preparing it to run on the track and did some frame mods, that would need a little TLC to be put back to stock, on the rear of the bike, for the tail to fit, and the tank has the usually RS leak.

Bike is sold "as is". Might consider trade for Buell 1125R, Mutant Buell Chopper, Harley Chopper, or Chevy S10 4cyl Auto or Colorado with low miles.

Please pick up locally or make arrangements for a shipper to pick up. it has black frame and rear fender, radiator shrouds, someone painted the tank black.
It looks sweet for an old 2 stroke, runs good but smokes a little. Probably because it is a 2 stroke. It has many other things that come with it, but i forget what else is done to it. Also comes with a new D156 dunlop rear tire not installed.
Really nice for the money and it is fast!!!
I got a lot into it, but i am looking for 1500 cash. I would consider trades for a decent and running MANUAL car and i prefer imports. If your car is worth 200 dollars then please do not waste my time, the bike has over 2 grand invested.

This motorcycle has very low miles, has about 4700 miles on it, it runs great, and it's very fast.

Nearly perfect beautiful metallic purple plum color paint that really comes to life

And it is really good on fuel. The great fuel savings makes this bike great for going to work

I have a 1987 GSXR Frame, no title for sale. The rear tail-section has a small twist in it



but is easy to straighten out. 90 OBO.



I do have the Wisconsin licence plate off the bike and this might be a help in locating the



last know registered owner.



Also I have a gas tank and front fender .



All three of these pieces have been preped for paint and have epoxy primer on them, not cheap laquer primer.



The tank is finished on the bottom section, base-coat and clear-coat gloss black. It is masked off in the picture so it doesn't get overspray on it.



The front fender has a small repair on the underside at the rear, epoxy primer.



If you are interested in the upper cowling, fender , swingarm (not pictured) or tank contact me with an offer.



Really want to move this frame out of the garage, I can ship but would rather do local



pickup. I have many other 1986 1987 GSXR 750 parts. If you want to work something out with enough



parts for a rolling chassis let me know.
