Small public accounting firm in Gurnee is hiring an experienced person to handle a variety of accounting functions for our clients. Duties include accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, payroll, making journal entries and helping with the month-end close. Qualified candidates will have full charge bookkeeping experience, be proficient with QuickBooks, be very attentive to details, strong organizational skills and be able to work independently. This person will be working with accounting clients and expected to project a professional image.
This is initially a part-time position that will turn into a full-time position very quickly.
