Interested in learning something new, exciting, and physical? Try our one-day workshop for Beginners and Advanced level students in Capoeria!!!
Capoeira is a blend of Dance and Brazilian Martial Arts. Students will be introduced to the grace and strength through live music and experienced instruction. The objective of Capoeira is to broaden the mind, body and soul with the introduction of its history, artistry, and exercise.
May 17th
Capoeira Workshop at Loyola Park, 1230 W. Greenleaf (skyroom)
Beginner level- 12:30 P.M. Advanced level- 2:00 P.M.
$15/general $10/students
Registration begins at Noon.
About the instructor-- Fernado Vulcao DePreta has been playing Capoeira nationally and internationally for over ten years. He is a member of the performance group, Creative Soul Entertainment. Currently living in Chicago, Vulcao De Preta is preparing his annual trip to Brazil to continue his studies and build his network. With his patience and dedication he is teaching more than 100 students the art of Capoeira.
