Chicago and Northshore Tutoring Director - (Chicago and Northern Suburbs)

As a Tutoring Director for Nurturing Wisdom, you will meet with new students and families to explain our tutoring services and programs, diagnose student needs, and select the best tutor to help them. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with families, advising parents about their child’s education, and supervising a group of tutors. Most importantly, you will be responsible for ensuring students gain the skills they need to succeed! In addition, all of our tutoring directors are required to tutor between 3-8 students so that they can speak from experience.
Nurturing Wisdom is a Chicago-based tutoring company with over 50 tutors. We provide high quality, one-on-one, in-home tutoring services to hundreds of students. We are looking to hire a full-time tutoring director to meet the growing demand for our services. All directors work with co-directors and will have administrative support. All directors must be able to travel to students’ homes for meetings and to tutor between 3-8 students.

Requirements:
- Prior management experience
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Full-time availability
- Receiving and making phone calls in the afternoons & evenings
- Driving to meet families in their homes a few evenings each week
- Availability to work one weekend day and travel to students’ homes (preferably Sunday)
