A fast growing animal care facility on the north side of Chicago (Lincoln Square) is looking for a part time (1pm-6pm W-Th-F) dog handler/kennel attendant.
Required Qualifications:
- Dependable, have good customer skills and reliable transportation.
- Enthusiastic personality and a positive, up-beat attitude towards our dogs and customers.
- A champion for dog wellness and health.
- Able to be the “leader of the pack” and maintain order among a large group of dogs.
- Understand dog behavior, non-verbal cues and posture.
- Energetic and able to exercise and play with dogs for long periods of time.
- Physically able to handle light to medium-duty cleaning and picking up after dogs throughout the day.
- Able to take direction and have good communication skills.
- Able to pass a background check.
