Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all users. General pool maintenance may be required.
DAYS/HOURS:
Shifts available:
Sunday, 2:15-3:30pm
Monday and Thursday, 4:30-5:45pm
REQUIREMENTS:
Swim Instructors: Knowledge of and experience teaching children in the American Red Cross “Learn to Swim” program; Water Safety Instructor (WSI) preferred.
Lifeguards: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid certification, as well as CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification required.
1. You must--

--Live in or near our main service area of Evanston
2. You must BE--
--Extremely time-oriented and be able to manage your own schedule
--Dependable. Our clients rely on our dependability.
--Able to work monday through friday from 10am - 4pm. Ideally you also are available some weekday mornings and evenings as well as some weekends & optional holidays, as needed.
--Able to handle physical requirements of the job-----walking dogs for 5-8 half hour visits per day
--Able to handle animals of varying sizes.
--Comfortable and willing to work outside in all types of weather
--21 years or older
--Able to pass a criminal and background check
--Willing to make at least a one year commitment. We are NOT hiring for seasonal work. All positions are LONG term.
3. You must HAVE--
--A reliable car, valid driver's license and auto insurance
--Access to the internet
--A working cell phone
--Basic written & verbal skill for interaction with our human clients

You work as much as you want and make your own hours, but I need a commitment of at least 10 hours a week. Students make sure you have the time before committing.
Please have the following qualifications and equipment:
1) Have your own computer with high speed internet connection.
2) Have Excel on your PC and know how to use it (only basic knowledge needed)
3) Have a basic digital camera and know how to get pictures onto your PC (FTP knowledge a plus)
3) Have a car or transportation to carry 4-8 boxes per trip.
4) Be in Evanston, or close enough to be able to make quick trips if needed.
5) Know how eBay works, selling/listing knowledge is a big plus.
6) Know about small antiques and collectibles, household collectibles or at least know how to do basic research on items.
7) Basic HTML skills a plus but not necessary.
