Wonderlic Inc. is the recognized leader in development, delivery, and support of educational and employment assessments, retention and survey solutions. We are looking for an HR Clerk who is interested in a part-time position working an average of 24 hours per week from our Libertyville office.
Our Human Resources Clerk is responsible for the following:
Providing support to our HR Representative, managers and employees regarding company policies and HR programs (benefits, pay and salary)
Support with all state and federal employment regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA) by ensuring that proper records are maintained for required record retention
Support in administering programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
Assist our managers in the recruitment phase, to help the company in sourcing and hiring highly qualified, diverse candidates
Coordinate the successful on-boarding of new hires
Benefit coordination with employees to ensure legal notification requirements are met and proper records are maintained
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to multi-task
1-3+ years of previous HR experience
