DESCRIPTION
Insurance and Residential Inspectors are needed to conduct appraisal type surveys. You would work independently from your home. If you enjoy the outdoors, meeting people, are organized, have leadership qualities, enjoy driving, like low stress, and computers; then contact us.
Information Providers, Inc. is a leader in 29 states conducting insurance inspections on single family homes and small businesses for insurance purposes. We observe and report conditions and hazards along with identifying the characteristics and description of homes and small businesses. Digital photos are taken of the property. The exterior of the structures are measured with a measuring wheel. The information is processed through your home computer via the internet to our processing center.
The average inspection ranges from 10 to 30 minutes for an experienced inspector, but some interior inspections – High Values - (which do require appointments) can take up to several hours.
You receive your work orders via a daily email and have 21 days to complete and process the inspections. You are paid a fee for each type of inspection plus extra fees for photos, appointments, interior inspections, etc. A portion of your fees are non-taxable. Your earnings are deposited directly into your bank account on a bi-weekly basis. You are not paid for gas.
We are seeking Full & Part time employees. A typical employee Partime employee would maintain an inventory of between 20 and 40 work orders and be assigned a territory. Thus, completing 5 to 10 inspections per day in the field is normal. You would average about $12 to $20 per Inspection.
Experience is not necessary. We provide extensive training including your first week in our Office in Louisville, KY (expenses are paid) or in your community; load our software on your home computer; and you work from your home after the training period. We provide Training and Employee Manuals, measuring wheels, forms, business cards, toll free voice mail, and all business related materials.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A dependable car; clean driving record; Drug Free; digital camera, modern computer with Windows XP or Vista operating system, and an excellent work ethic with ‘above average’ organizational skills are mandatory requirements for this position. High speed internet connectivity is helpful, but not required. A dial-up internet connection is required at a minimum.
You must pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check prior to being hired by our company.
